Quinn Edward Caldwell

Quinn Edward Caldwell was born on September 7th, 1965, in Newton, IA. The son of Kenneth Wayne Caldwell M.D. and Sandra Anne (Petted) Caldwell. He attended Northern University High School where he graduated in 1983, lettering in football, basketball, and track.  He also enjoyed playing brass instruments in the band as well as singing in the chorus.  As his mom always said, he marched to the beat of his own drum. He continued his studies at NIACC as he began working for the hotel industry in the following years.  In 2008, he moved to Warsaw, IL and began working in Keokuk, IA at Keokuk Steel Castings where he was a member of the United Steelworkers Union.

Quinn accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Catholic Church.  He was never married but was a proud father to John Edward Caldwell. He was a devoted father, son, brother, and uncle.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing pool, playing sports, and loved watching his Las Vegas Raiders.  He was called to eternal rest on March 8th, 2024.  He will be missed by all who knew him. 

Quinn was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and uncle, John Petted. Quinn leaves to cherish his memory a loving son, John Caldwell; sisters, Erin (Caldwell) Lopez, Amy Caldwell, and Mary Jane Caldwell; brother, Ken Caldwell II (Jan); niece, Kathlina Lopez; and nephews, Matteo Lopez, Freddy Lopez, Ken Caldwell III (Becky); great nephew, Logan Caldwell, Maliki Amde, Zayden Lopez and great niece, MacKenzie Caldwell, along with a host of beloved relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Ralston Park in Warsaw, IL on Saturday, March 23rd at 1PM.
